Mt.Ogusu

The highest peak in the Miura Peninsula is 242m. From the summit’s viewing platform, you can of course look over the entire Miura Peninsula, however, a 360 degrees panorama of the Izu Peninsula, Mount Fuji, the Hakone Mountain Range, Ōshima, and the Boso Peninsula will also extend before your eyes. Ōgusa Daira is also an appealing sight during the changing of the seasons; in the Spring the area sprouts rape blossoms and in the fall, cosmos. Families and beginners can enjoy lushly green tree groves and seasonal flowers on the Ogusu Ashinaguchi course and the cool breeze along the mountain stream on the Maeda Bashi course, and many other hiking courses.
