Miura Peninsula Tourist Information

The Miura Peninsula is located in the southeastern part of Kanagawa Prefecture, about an hour by train from the city center. In this short stretch, you can find beautiful beaches and mountains spread out before you. There are many spots to stop at along the way, such as those that serve up elaborate sweets or dishes made with the best ingredients. The Mt. Sengen summit peaks at 118m only 1km from the Morito coast, offering a seamless view of Enoshima and Mt. Fuji. The sunset view from Tateishi Park and the beautiful starry skies seen from Umanose Cave Mouth are highlights of the area. With the narrow town streets, you can get around easily and cut through the gentle breezes on a bicycle. There is much more than just the tourist spots, too, as Miura Peninsula’s mountains, beaches, and town offer a new type of active trip for you.
