Tateyama Rascal

This is a ramen shop located 10 minutes from Nakofunakata Station on the JR Uchibo Line. Run by a couple who greet warmly, this is a bright and lively shop. The centerpiece of the restaurant, "Special Chinese Soba," uses dried horse mackerel with pork-bone stock. Combined with the sweetness of the lard, it has a unique taste that is solid but not satiating. Also, "Mazesoba" uses home-made noodles, bamboo shoot, marinated boiled-egg, and roasted pork, with a perfect match of the stiffness of the noodles and the sweetness of the soup. Since the mini-size is usually a large amount, please estimate your appetite when ordering.
