Oyama Senmaida Rice Terrace

West of Kamogawa River, these are the terraced rice fields at the foot of Oyama, where the Nagasa Plain is located. Known as the rice terrace village closest to the city center, this is a sprawling 3.2 hectares rice field with 375 steps. Currently, with an "ownership system" introduced, it has become a place for urban farmers to experience farming in addition to landscape conservation.
