Hyakusho Yashiki Jiroem
This is a renovated old folk house in Minami Boso. Follow the narrow farm road and you will see a magnificent gate with a thatched roof. The building is a renovation of a peasant mansion that was built about 300 years ago. It has been passed down from generation to generation, and it seems that the current owner is the 14th generation. The interior is a typical old folk house, and the walls and pillars have a sense of considerable history. The best recommendation here is "Jiroemu Omakase Gozen". You can enjoy omelets using fertilized eggs from free-range hens from "Inaba Natural Farm" behind the shop, and chicken hamburger steaks. Their miso soup made from homemade malt is also excellent. The shop is reservation-only, so please contact before arriving. This is a wonderful space where you can enjoy nature and history with both your eyes and palate.
