Kiri no Sato Takahara

Located in the plateau of the world heritage site "Kumano Kodo Nakahechi" at an altitude of 320 meters is the sky inn. All of the guest rooms have a spectacular view of the mountains and the sea of clouds can be enjoyed during the season. You can enjoy carefully selected food and wine that is all organic, sourced from local vegetables and fish. The creative dishes are created with an idea of Japanese and Spanish food that caries depending on the season, so you will never get tired of the tastes even with multiple visits. Lunch on the open terrace, with its views of the Kii Mountains, is highly recommended. Furthermore, the bath uses water strictly from the Watarase Hot Spring in Hongucho. At the center of it all is the owner, Jian Shino, who aims to provide a cozy space that transcends countries and languages, so you can relax and enjoy yourself. It is a wonderful inn for those walking the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage.
