"Kitera" is a small direct sales market in a rural area that derives its name from the local dialect, meaning "please come". Every morning the farmers bring in their products to ship off, greeting each other in the local dialect with things like, "Atsuinora (It's hot, isn't it?)", or "Nattouna~" at this heartwarming shop. The store is lined with fresh seasonal vegetables, seasonal oranges, umeboshi, and such harvested from the Kamiakizu area, as well as drink the "Orenchi Juice" produced on the shop's premises. The unique juice has a strong taste with a perfect balance of sourness and sweetness. We also recommend having a cup of coffee at "Ikora Chaya", located next door, while gazing across the plum fields and the Migiaizu River.
