Lake Mashū Ice Cream Shop
At the intersection of the national highway leading to Lake Mashū, there is an ice cream shop with a cute, eye-catching yellow building. “Mashūko no Aisu”, which opened in 1998, uses high-quality, fresh-squeezed milk from local town ranches for its ice cream. In order to preserve the milk’s fresh flavor, they create their product by pasteurizing and carefully hand-working the ice cream in their in-store workshop. This leads to a final product of ice cream and gelato that tastes even more delicious. Popular products include “Specialty Milk Soft Serve”, which has a natural deliciousness that makes you feel like you are drinking milk as is, and “Mashū Blue”, which reflects the color of the surface of Lake Mashū. In addition, there are also culinary gems that can only be eaten here, such as Mashū soba noodles and gelato made with Tsurui cheese. Why don’t you stop by here for a break from your activities?
