Ajishin
Founded 37 years ago, “Ajishin” is a popular restaurant that is open for lunch during the day and has a crowded bar scene at night. “Ajishin” is the origin of “Marimo Heat”: a refreshing cocktail that uses “Akan Simpui”, an apple-flavored jelly that is made by Hokkaido Marimo Confectionary, is paired with roasted venison. The venison is cooked perfectly by the shop owner, who specializes in Hokkaido deer meat. The dish is enhanced by a generous addition of mountain grape sauce, served by the owner himself. The “salmon & fatty tuna donburi” has a broiled edge, and the fragrant aroma combined with the soft, fatty flavor of the salmon is incredibly appetizing. There are many other menu items that the owner is proud of. Ajishin is a shop where you can experience the warmth of the people of Lake Akan.
